About Catherine (Cat) Street

Catherine Street is an aspiring professional pole vaulter in Hammond, Louisiana.  Born and raised in Oregon, Street attended Linfield College where she obatined her nursing degree while being a two time DIII National Champion in the Pole Vatult.  She was named the USTFCCCA National Outdoor Field Athlete of the Year honors as well as the 2012 Scholar Athlete of the Year.  During her collegate career she was a seven-time All-American and a four-time Academic All-American.  Street set the all time DIII National record at 4.25m (13'11.25").  She is currently rate 92nd in the world occording to All-Athletics.com.  She competed at the 2013  USA National Indoor Championships and placed 10th amoung the best vaulters in the nation. 

She has a person best mark of 4.27m (14'0") set at Alki Beach Vault in July 2012.
